What we eat:
-I provide Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, PM snack.
-We only eat real food, no processed foods, or too much sodium or sugars.
-I follow Canada food guide for the portions that should be served to each age group.
-We try to eat a variety of fruits and veggies through the day ( we eat all colours of the rainbow) and we have at least 3 serving of fruits and veggies.
-I serve home-made food that is healthy and delicious and made of simple ingredients.
-I do care for proper storage, cross contamination, and food safety.
-I mostly prepare meals before hand so the little ones would have my full attention at all time.
- We set the table and learn about table manners at each meal.
-I provide each child with complimentary new cups, plates, and utensils for their personal use.
